It seems like the thing one is supposed to do when starting a blog is to tell a little about myself and why I am blogging. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 27 years and raised our two daughters. Both of our daughters are married to wonderful young men and live out of town. We have three adorable little grandchildren. Like most of the blogs I have followed, mine is for the intent of keeping in touch with family and friends.
Ever since I was in high school I have been interested in family history or genealogy. I have collected a lot of information on my own ancestors and on those of my husband. I have a tree on ancestry.com onto which I have uploaded as many generational photographs as I have been able to find or have been given by other genealogists. It is my hope that this blog may help others to find me and be able to exchange information to further our research.
Who knows what this blog will eventually become? It will take me some time just to learn how to navigate this site and create the blog.
Jake and Gladys Mustered
This is the only photo I have of "Jake" William) Mustered. HIs name was Perry at birth and he later changed it to Jake. Jake was the son of John William Mustered and Marth Jane Weese. Jake b. 28 Nov 1901 in Peoria, Illinois, d. 20 Apr 1972 in Portland, Oregon. Gladys Lorena Hill Mustered Barnhart b. 9 July 1905 Peach, WA d. 29 Jan 2006. Gladys' parents were Henry C Hill and Grace Snook.
